His actions are that of a typical military man! Nothing more and nothing less!

He could be hoping to cancel tomorrow's debate in the hopes that they'll reschedule the debate for the VP slot and bump the VP debate entirely. He could be trying to dodge a debate with Obama. The Bush admin. could be trying to declare marshal law. We'll see.

Now they cancel a debate because of a problem on Wall street?

What will he do if he actually is in office and something happens? "Sorry I have to stop everything so that I can go think about things..."

    ?????

    What a crock.

If he can't multi-task he shouldn't be in the oval office. Simple as that.
This, and his leaving POW's behind (yes, yes, I know, but it's documented) are the two biggest reasons I can't vote for the man. And I can't go with the other guy, either. I am finding the meltdown after last night's scream session regarding the bailout high entertainment. And Chuck Schumer's (sp?) out and out lies to help his candidiot look better are going to put me in the hospital for splitting a gut laughing.

Not so. In over two decades, I've never done anything similar to what he's done or is doing, and no soldier is more typical than I, regardless of Hollywood's portrayals thereof. Rather more like what a simpering politician from the elite and self-aggrandizing ruling class would act as...

Study for what? To debate a VP that doesn't even agree with the President candidate

    They should be ashamed

I suspect you see him in a different light than I do! I meant his immediate and decisive action! If not for all the preconceived notions we have in our heads or the second and third guessings we do of the candidates actions and words during election time, this is likely what we all would have seen, a man acting on what he believes is right, quickly and decisively!

Oh, and thanks for your service!

Oh, OK. I did misunderstand the post. And actually I do like the fact that he did go back to Washington and do what the constituency elected him to do, but I still see a lot of the "less-a-public-servant-than-a-master" in him and most others we send to Washington.

I'm really glad that he kept telling us that he has suspended his campaign while making all those interviews and speeches, if he didn't tell me he had suspended his campaign I would never have noticed.
