Electric razors and EMF
Here is something the wife found that makes me glad I am using a straight razor. It appears that electric razors are the worst source of EMF out there and we put them right next to our faces. Here is the link: Electromagnetic Fields: On A Power Trip THEA DELEY / Delicious Living Feb02

yea but when you put the electric razor on one side of your face and your cell phone on the other they cancel each other out and the emf converts the rf and actually makes your brain grow.

Has anyone ever thought about the sun? all that nasty electromagnetic radiation (sounds bad, doesn't it?) someone shoot it out of the skies, please!
And AM / FM radio? Time to tear down the antennas I say.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

WOW. Bad topic.I might be able to get another sharpening stone out of the wife though because of this article. I think I need to calm the wife down. She may be getting out of control here.

You might want to warn her about the high power 60 Hz electro magnetic waves which permeate your house. The best way to get rid of those is to permanently disconnect the mains to your house.
These days there is som much EM in our living environment that it's pointless to worry, since there is nothing you can do about it unless you live in rural area.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

I can't belive the garbage that people publish, spreading their ignorance around. X-rays are not "energy fields," radio and micro waves are are not "high frequency," and radio waves clearly do not cause thermal damage to our cells. And that's just the errors in two sentences!
Also, based on that paragraph, I am led to believe that the author has no idea how microwaves work. At least read some popular science (HowStuffWorks "Introduction to How Microwave Cooking Works") before you spout your "facts" publicly.

Well, technically...
the rays themselves not, but they are part of an EM field.
that depends whom you're asking. high and low are merely subjective standards, influenced by one's own area of expertise. 100 MHz is high when regarded by some, and low when regarded by others.
The telecom lasers I worked on in 1999-2001 emit pulses at a clean bitrate of 10Gbs.
We thought of 2.5GBps as low frequency.
that also depends how far you are from the antenna. it would be a terminally bad idea to stand in front of broadcast antennas for national or international frequencies.
our national frequency broadcasts at 600 Watts. Trust me, you'll feel that.
There is even a darwin award for some schmuck who fell asleep in his lawnchair in front of an antenna. Apparently he always installed himself in front of it because it was so pleasantly warm...Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
