Default Lets lighten the mood with funny gaffes from your political party!

Ok, things seem to me to be getting rather tense politically around here! The majority of the people in America, whether democrat, Republican, Independent, etc. Are good hearted and only want the best for their country, but this time of the year, every four years, things get a little tense and crazy!
Let us all take a step back, take a deep breath and relate your favorite gaffe from a member of your political affiliation or someone in politics whos views closely match your own! The only rule I have is that the gaffe can not be from the opposition, it has to be from someone on your side of the aisle!
Members from other nations can join in on the fun also!

To help you get the idea, here are a couple from my side of the aisle:

YouTube - I'm Alright - Gerald Ford Falls Down
YouTube - Dan Quayle spells potato(e)

Sorry Mark- I don't have a "side" I strictly support. It depends on the individual and the issue. I'll look for something that points fun at everyone to try and even it out. I'll get back to this thread!

I'm pretty much the same way so I picked the side that most consistently resembles my own beliefs!

Poor Dan Quayle. Super smart guy that can't speak if his life depended on it.

This isn't a political gaffe, but lightens the mood I feel nonetheless!

I guess no one believes their political side capable of mistakes?

At this time every 4 years it seems to me that it is particularly important to stand back and take a wider more objective view of what is going on around us and why! I started this thread to give members the opportunity to reflect and laugh at themselves, their beliefs and the gaffes of the people they respect so as to break our tendency to fixate on the "evils" of our opponents and maybe see the picture unfolding in front of our eyes in a different more objective light! With this in mind, would anyone else care to contribute?

Candidates from my party are generally not given much of a chance to speak to the media, but the guy we ran for prez 4 years ago was a joke anyhow...

Great guy, and I totally voted for him, but he's as nutty as squirrel poo.
