Thanked: 31No, thank God, but it's about what I'd expect. She didn't know what it was, even though it has caused us a two-front war so far, and perhaps three-front soon. Do I hear four? Four-front war, SOLD to the American that stomped on more constitutional rights than Lincoln! The reason it shocked me is that it has been a few years since he put it out, and for her not to know it just made her look both unprepared and really unconcerned. That doctrine has really, really hurt us internationally. I really shouldn't be shocked anymore, I suppose. Hey, at least I can tell my grandchildren that I was alive to see Obama campaign to win the White House and to tell them how McCain helped him get it.

Thanked: 586This definitely belongs in this thread: Palin's 'going rogue,' McCain aide says - CNN.com
If Obama wins he should send the chickenhead a big fruit basket and a nicely worded thank you note.

Apparently, in an interview today, she also thinks that the First Amendment is there to protect her from being criticized. I wonder if she has actually read the Constitution? She could borrow it from Cheney...he's using it as a coaster. Her comments just highlight the decline in standards in the US...
...being ignorant is ok if you are "folksy" (I think Lincoln would strongly disagree)
...if you do not agree with the far right, then you are un-American (a slap in the face to every veteran, living and dead)
...some parts of America are "real" America
...the list continues...
So besides having a voice that sounds like Rosanne Barr with a head cold, she is a poster child for active intolerance, willful and proud ignorance, fear-mongering, religious fanaticism (anyone who is tries to force their religious standards and beliefs on anyone else is in my opinion a fanatic - regardless of their religion and probably has very little actual understanding of the religion they supposedly practice), hypocrisy disguised as faith, divisive tactics for personal gain and self-aggrandizement.
Ironically, for all their cries about socialism and communism, they are the ones engaging in class warfare, one of the main tenets of Marx's manifesto.
My concern is that not enough Americans see that the fear and blame-laying is a smoke screen to deceive them and continue the policies that have driven the world's economy into the gutter; that have resulted in the deaths of thousands of brave, dedicated men and women who stood up to serve their nation's call, despite the lies coming from the White House; that have dimmed the light from the torch of Lady Liberty in a shroud of greed, ignorance, intolerance, vanity, and hubris.
And she needs to trim those damn bangs.
