    Default Fantastic Contraption

Are there engineers among us? I think so! Anyway, here is a fun little game. Using only 3 different kinds of wheels, two different kinds of connecting rods, and your own ingenuity, you must get the pink object to the pink target in 21 different levels

It's a free game, doesn't take long, but can be challenging and addictive. Enjoy

A couple of examples of what can be done (I made the train for my son, he loves this game too). If you don't like hints, don't click these links!

    1. your url is wrong and takes you to the wrong site. cut the "s" off the end
    2. reminds me of The Incredible Machine,(but way simpler) which I loved as a kid.

Thanks, I removed the s. The game's author based it on incredible machine - I had never heard of that game before someone showed me this one. Oh, the things I've missed!

it was an old game (by sierra, i think) for macs, back in the early 90's. i used to tell people it was the only computer game that made you smarter.

it had hundreds of objects that could be combined, and one of the most realistic physics engines available (it's even pretty decent by modern standards)

I loved the incredible machine. I wish they would update it and reintroduce it.

Oh man, I've spent way too much time on fantastic contraption!

Mostly I like making contraptions that work but flop around for 10 minutes before accomplishing the goal.

Mine end up like that thru desparation, not design. How do I make the pink object go to the pink goal UNDERNEATH where it starts?
