I'm not sure, but I read that as if he was just arguing by absurdity. His comment was roughly as absurd as the one to which he was responding.

His comment was clearly not serious. However accusing someone of racism without any sense of joking implied just does NOT go over well.

I rarely weigh into these conversations, but the comments by Agamemnon can only be construed as trying to start a flame war, and whip up an arguement.
Even McCain said that Obama was a good and decent man, so where on earth does anyone get off comparing Obama to Hitler, or a radical Marxist (i.e. Lennon, Stalin, etc.)?

People, during the elections everything stayed so civil (relatievly speaking) nd now that they are over, the trouble starts.
Keep it civil, do not insult, and do not start a flamewar.
I will not close this thread, but I will keep an eye on it and the next one to make problems will get a timeout.
