Praise the lord..the elections are over!
Finally!! the flipping elections are as good as over. I was getting extremely fed up with all the talk of politics. American politics that is.
Anyone else glad that they won't have to put up with the whole "obama is better" "no McCain is better" rubbish or is it just me?
So who has something new and shiny to talk about?

I don't know really. I followed their election for entertainment as well as interest on a large scale. Time will tell.

Thanked: 53I agree wholeheartedly.
While I appreciate the democratic process and never fail to vote, the endless circus of fund-raising, spending and bullsh*t by professional politicians whom I wouldn't want to preside over a discussion about where to have lunch is both painful and amusing to watch.
Thank goodness it's only every four years!

I never said that I liked Dutch politics either. Offcourse we have elected officials.
I'm not a beer drinker but from what I understand the stuff that's used for export isn't called "****" without a reason by my friends.
Heineken is called undrinkable by most of my friends. Sorry man.
