What was so bad for the US citizens, it was a time of relative prosperity (not that he can take total credit for it)? Unemployment was low he made head way on the debt?

Need to check your facts Tim. Whilst there is partial truth in what you say, Lemmings no more go in the same direction than a heard of buffalo. However I believe you were insinuating (correct me if I am wrong) that Lemmings walk together on mass towards there death (or towards some other perilous situation worse than they were in before). Which they don't.

Unless you are talking about the green-haired, blue-coated fictional variety. :D

I have the same dream - that he will take our governor with him to DC. But on a serious note, let's see what he can do. If bush had left the place as nice as he found it we wouldn't be dealing with this, and sometimes as a party we have to accept that we are getting what we deserve.

can we wait till the man makes a policy that makes this country worse than what george already has? let's not hang this man before his first time farting in the oval office. who knows, he may be able to coach everyone that he brings to washington into making the right decicions.

Wow somehow I missed this jem. That is one of the most unpatriotic, inhuman statements I have witnessed yet. Someone would rather see their fellow countrymen suffer, and maybe die, just to prove a point. Boy that is special.

Jim of course its going to continue the rabid right needs a bogeyman, they had the Soviets, Terrorist, Gays, Socialist (even when they aren't), if they don't have one they'll invent one. I think they find fear sort of titillating in their sexually repressed world.

No it's not. All Tim is saying is that the policies which Obama has said he would like to enact go against the things that Tim wants. For Obama to not enact these policies (failure) is to essentially give Tim what he wants. I don't see how that's unpatriotic at all. Since when does patriotism mean blind allegiance to whatever leader the masses put in place?

Failure would mean deeper financial hardship for your fellow countrymen, failure internationally would mean more wars that will kill US soldiers, maybe some attacks on the US would top it off for you all. Get real that's what the statement says, failure will have consequences, it's not a game, this isn't monday night mindless football. Maybe the right should grow up and start practicing what their bible preaches.
