Censorship and editing - split from some political thread or other
What happened to my post? I read your response Mark. I even replied to it. But your post has been altered and mine has been outright deleted.
Although I could be wrong. It has been known to happen.
Still, all the same i'd like to know.......

No posts have been deleted in this thread as far as I can tell.
They could have been moved away, but I don't see any moved posts offline either.
EDIT: We never ever alter posts. We delete them, or move them offline and tell the poster to either post a changed version, or approve a change to the existing post.
EDIT2: and if we delete of remove a post, the poster is always notified to inform him or her what happened, and why it happened. we also notify each other so that all mods re in the loop on something.Last edited by Bruno; 11-13-2008 at 10:07 AM.

Can I request this talk about censorship and editing be splintered to a new thread? I am enjoying the discussion but dont want to continue to lead the discussion too far off topic.
And yes OK lee you can make a joke about this request being some form of editing/censoring. I dont see how you can tho...
