Talking Want to watch a Movie I Made Today? Okay, Click Here!

It was shot, along with all the others (yeah, there are others), on a 75 dollar, 6 megapixel camera, and edited in Windows Movie Maker (the throw away program that comes with all PC's). The idea came to me the other night, but all the shooting, editing, etc, commenced and concluded earlier today, so I'm happy with the end result, all in all. Just having some fun.

If you like it, I encourage you to rate and comment. Heck, do so even if you hate it! And subscribe too.

    Friggen beautiful!

    *SPOILER ALERT*

    Please watch movie before proceeding.

    My review:

The director captures the essence of the 20-something year old's dichotomy of ennui and need for self sufficiency. The desire to remain forever prone upon the couch juxtaposed with the elemental pangs of hunger.

Your club technique makes Tiger Woods look like a chump! The club, as it makes it's way to the kitchen has a run-in with the cat, a seemingly innocuous encounter, yet forshadowing the surprise and tragic ending of the film.

I heartily applaud that the writer/director took the tough road, as they could have easily opted out and went for the "feel good" ending with the protagonist enjoying his meal suppine upon the couch. But NO! Tragedy strikes our young hero when he least expects it.

    Two thumbs up!

    See you in Cannes!

I tried to put in a spoiler pop-up, but it didn't work. I edited it manually instead.

Nice one... I enjoyed that! Cute cat too. I feel there's room for some character development with Steve. You know, his own series maybe, like "Blade Wielder's Cat" a la Fat Freddy.

    Looking forward to another!

"That's a filthy surface! I can't eat off of that!"

Most Hollywood scripts just don't have quality lines like that!

The nuance of the soundtrack being derailed along with the plate of eggs was a nice touch!

Actually there is a little known, cult movie that provides some backstory on the tensions between Steve and Stogey...

The set design is truely amazing in its detail, I would expect that from a big budget production but for a you tube short it is amazing the sense of realizim this attention to detailadds really makes the movie for me.

Thanks. I've always liked that effect. They used it in Ferris Bueller's Day Off whenever he'd break the fourth wall and talk to the camera... and I think it was used in Wayne's World at some point.

Did you happen to see Infinite Sandwiches!, the other Steve n' Stogey movie? (Yes, I have limited access to actors.) Here it is:
