I still think you ought to tether the children, but whatever! It's only your manhood we are talking about here!

Thanked: 77H2 minimum. They just got so sissified after that . From the Hummer forums:
"I had an accident today. Totalled 2 compacts, T-boned a minivan and had to run off the road through a guard rail to avoid a pedestrian. No one was killed. Does anyone know if you can get touch up paint at a parts store or do you have to go to the dealer?"

twin 4 piston Hawg Halter front calipers with floating discs and a 4 piston rear caliper should stop me pretty good. the rear tire is a 250 so i opted for the widest front i could get and not have to be ridiculous, which is a 130, 140 if i find the right tire profile. so the thing will out handle and out brake any car i can afford, and it will look pretty ice when i am done it.
sorry for the hijack, i'm done nowv

Ford Expedition or any other large SUV. I borrowed my uncles Expedition for a 12 hour drive to Hilton Head and we had six grown adults in it with our luggage on a rack. It worked great.
"But the back seat isn't easy to get to" you say.
"WRONG!" I say.
Just take out one of the seats in the middle row. Then you have quick easy access to the back. Heck, I have a Durango myself, and if my trim level had the third row seating option, I'd just have to pop out a seat and leave it out to get to the back row. But a bigger SUV will also provide seating for two in the middle row AFTER the side seat is taken out.
Plus...it's got 4WD and can easily drive over curbs and Prius' as necessary.

I like the way you're thinking, Kasperitis. I'm starting to breathe a bit easier since my wife is now intrigued by the idea of getting a Tahoe or Expedition. It seems the Tahoe can come with a flex fuel option. Minnesota is a land of the heavily subsidized E85. Having the option, even it the engine may crap out sooner running strictly E85, I'd probably stick that down the vehicle's gullet since it's significantly cheaper.
Maybe there's hope yet....
