    Default Is this "Phishing"

I feel pretty confident with recognizing Phishing attempts by email but this is new to me and was received via Skype. Do you think this is legitimate? I am thinking it's not.

I received the same thing in my Skype account. I agree I think it's bogus and I didn't respond to any of it.

Since then, I went into tools, options, SMS and Messages and selected "only chat with people in my contact list" or something similar to that. Now I shouldn't get any more outside junk like that.

Received with a Mac no less, LOL Sounds like phishing to me. Here is an article that is one of those read it and weep situations.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thank you, I thought it looked suspicious. I didn't open the link. That article is sure an eye-opener.
