    Congrats!!

I lived in Ohio for almost 20 years in a previous life. (I did 120 once on my Kawasaki on I-270 -- you were probably still in grade school).

Seriously though, the Ohio State Patrol is one of the very best in the country.

---and there sure seemed to be a lot of them

Thanks for the support and the show of respect. In Ohio, we do pride ourselves on the quality of the organization that is the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and judging from some of your comments, this pride does not go unnoticed. Once again, I am humbled by your generosity, and want to again thank you for your show of respect.

I feel very proud to be a part of such an organization, and I hope I can do my small part for the good of the order.

On a lighter side, my Shave of the Day will more than likely be: My new Kent B&B Limited Edition brush, Tabac soap, my H& JW King meat chopper that was restored by Traveller, followed by either Floris 89 or Blenheim Bouquet.

Haha, Don't be modest. Now that you're Sergeant you can pass this on to the troops.

I wouldn't be presumptuous enough to think my opinion is worth any more than others, but 9 of those years I lived in Ohio I drove a semi between Omaha and the east coast, all the way north and south. Back then, and I assume it's still true today, the truckers considered the entire Ohio State Patrol to be a class act. We're not talking leniency (because we also considered you guys to be a pain in our arse ) but without execption, the utmost professionalism and consistency. (haha, my only ticket was from one outside of Dayton ). Again, congrats on the promotion. Something to be very proud of.

Hey congratulations! By the way, no, I really don't know how fast I was travelling that night on I-80 heading east but I think 123 mph in a '93 F-250 is a bit of a stretch.
