why would they need a bailout? porn sells its self, also the fact that even if the industry dies all the porn made up untill now will still be kicking around/ fofilling its purpose so we dont even need new stuff.

Good for them! It's about as valid as the other bailouts IMO... that is, not very.

Thanked: 131"Congress seems willing to help shore up our nation's most important businesses, (and) we feel we deserve the same consideration," Francis said in a statement.
Francis seems to be implying here that he accepts that the porn industry is not an important buisness. So why the hell would they get the cash?

Larry Flynt and Joe Francis? It's a joke, and I think it's a pretty good one. Almost as funny as the Auto industry one.
Read the article, they're clearly making a point as to how stupid it was for the government to bail out the Banks and auto industry. If they bail out those industries, why not the porn industry?
"The take here is that everyone and their mother want to be bailed out from the banks to the big three," Owen Moogan, a spokesman for Flynt, told CNN.
"The porn industry has been hurt by the downturn like everyone else and they are going to ask for the $5 billion. Is it the most serious thing in the world? Is it going to make the lives of Americans better if it happens? It is not for them to determine."

It was my fault, sorry. I've been surfing the stuff for a while and still haven't joined a single pay site.
