    Default Legoland

Going to legoland with my oldest boy in about 8 hours as a part of his robotics class sponsored by Legos!
    Wish me luck!

    Sweet!
I always wanted to do that, but the Europena legoland is in Denmark. Not exactly close by.
Imo lego is the best toy ever invented.

I spent a log of my childhood betwen boxes of lego, building all sorts of things and even entire cities, together with my brother. I used to be into the blue and grey 'space' lego. My brother was more into the regular lego and technical lego.

    Ah... good times.
Good luck on your trip. Have fun.

My son is still a bit to young for razors and even lego ( he is 3 years old) but that doesn't stop me from practicing so I can teach him when he is old enough

As a software engineer I found an excuse to buy the robotics stuff... you can also program it with Labview and c++!! very educational

    Have fun!!

Have you guys noticed that all those fun toys we played with as kids are now every bit as much fun to play with again as fathers?

Yeps they are...the best thing of it all is that my budget has grown as well since I was a kid...
The bad thing is that I dont have that much time to play anymore.. Work is fun but it costs a lot of time..

    Haha, another LabVIEW programmer.
Since you are dutch, you might have heard of the company I worked for: CIT Engineering.
I've programmed LabVIEW from version 4.1 to 8.1.
I left CIT a year and a half ago, and I haven't touched LabVIEW since.

To be honest, I liked the LabVIEW productivity, but I have always loved C++ more.

Yep. My son got a bunch for Christmas and I often find myself piddling with them before work in the morning!

There's a Legoland in Windsor, near London, UK. Never been there so can't comment on it.

    That must be relatively new.
To be honest, last time I checked was in my teens.

Thanks for sharing. Might be fun to do, next time I visit the UK.

The legoland in Windsor has been there for many years!

There also appears to be one in California and Germany, as well as the Danish one.
