The amazing thing about this set of photos is that you can't hide the fact that this is a human being with enormous responsibility on his shoulders. No matter how I felt about Bush as a president, these pictures tell me that I didn't know him as a person (not news to me but an interesting effect of the photos).

Being the President must be a lonely job in many respects.
