I only know it from seeing it as in descriptions of "arid" regions such as various deserts. :shrug: I had to look it up to make sure I did "know" it so don't feel bad. Maybe there are no deserts in Belgium ? Plenty of coticule though. :tuQuote:

That's exactly the context that I know this word from, to describe desert drought. IMO this is one of those words that you read in books, know what it means, but never use (unless you live in AZ).Quote:
