What was the #1 song when you were born?
We'll all show our age (or lack of it) here. Check out #1 Song on This Date in History to find yours. Mine didn't surprise me at all: Bon Jovi- Livin' on a Prayer.

It makes me sad to find out but it was : "Funkytown" by Lipps, Inc.
I'll go shoot myself now. Turns out that wasn't all that much of a year I guess.

Twelve Street Rag by Pee Wee Hunt of course. When I first read your post I thought of the song by Hoyt Axton, Never Been To Spain. Specifically the lyric,"well they tell me I was born there, but I really don't remember".
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I've got Abba - "Fernando" in the UK & it was Paul McCartney & Wings - "Silly Love Songs" in the US. I will add that niether of these seem to have influenced my musical taste, so i can be thankful for that!
