Well it is believed that he has a restriction in the pulmonary artery(ies). The doc is hopeful but not confident that he will grow out of it in six months. It is very loud and can be heard through both the front and back of the chest. We are going to get an echo and a follow up then and hopefully avoid catheterization of the artery(ies).
Thanks guys.

I'll give you the benefit of my experience.
You should know there are many many things that can cause a murmur. It could be just a roughening of the inside of the heart causing the sound. That's what they said about me in the 1970s. Then they didn't have the imaging devices they have now. I was told it was innocent and forget about it. At age 50 I started having these weird chest pains and as it turned out my Mitral valve which is the largest one in the heart was defective. An echo cardiogram revealed that fast and I had heart surgery to correct it.
Get it checked out. Don't wait. Without the imaging you just don't know.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
