Started riding dirtbikes when I was twelve, up till about five years ago.
It just beats up my knees too badly, that and I take longer to heal after my crashes.
Rode streetbikes off and on since sixteeen, and roadracing for one season, years ago.
I think my alltime favourite bike so far has been my Honda CBR600F2, "yippee"
One of these days, I will get the object of my lust though, a Ducati 749s :P

I'm still working on convincing the wifey that I NEED one of these. ink:

Thanked: 0Just sent mine to "bike heaven'
a '79 Yamaha XS1100 Special"....
fast enough to scare the hell out of me for sure.
Lots of fun for a couple of years and I sure learned how to work on bikes with it. The dealer here wouldn't even touch it.
Ride safe and often guys

Used to ride a little Suzuki GS500E. Nice little twin: docile at low revs, with a bit of umph higher up.
Rode it for several years, along with my wife (who later got a little cruiser for herself). Unfortunately demands of life (especially with a family addition) pretty much sucked down any spare time that we had. (Also noticed that the geometry of that bike conspired with my height to drive the wind blast straight under my helmet. If I had held on to that bike much longer, I was going to either need a fairing or start losing my high-end hearing.)

I just picked up a Honda VTX 1300R. Very nice. All the controls are in a completely different place then my last sport touring bike, but still a lot of fun to ride.
I'm adding a sound system to it this week. :-)

First Bike was a Katana (sports touring) then I got a rebel then another Katana and finally a 600 Ninja. I love bikes, but being young, i have some time with insurance rates. If I was to get another bike I'd like a softtail classic, but would most likely get a Vstar

Thanked: 188 XLH1200 Sportster.
I ride it whenever I need to get somewhere.
I wouldn't call myself a biker, it just happens to be how I get around.
