While I can understand where you guys can find jokes in this, I fail to see anything funny about someone torturing a kitten.

Oh lighten up a little. The guy was a druggie who shouldn't have done it but it is not like the cat died or suffered any ill effects.

I support or have supported (both with money and pro-bono legal work) a number of animal/animal welfare organizations. I forget sometimes that the people on a mostly anonymous website don't know me, and know that underneath my joke lives a condemnation of the most strong variety of this type of abuse.
