Here's one to Larry William Bailey, a large, funny guy from St. Mary's Georgia. He was KIA on Oct 22, 1966, on a nameless river in Vietnam when our extraction team's boat was hit by a remote-controlled mine. I tried my best to save him, but I was messed-up too, and could not. I did lead a patrol the next day and found his body.

You made it home, my brother, you made it home.

It has been said that a man is never truly dead unless he is forgotten. Beetle, as long as I am still alive, you will never be forgotten!
