Less of me around...
On August 12th, 2008, I made the decision to start on Nutrisystem and lose weight. I have been fairly strict in following their meal plans (no midnight runs to Popeye's or Taco Bell....) and weigh in every Friday morning. I have not moved into having an exercise regimen yet, but that is next.
As of my weigh-in this morning, I have lost 102 pounds.
I have another 144 to go before I am back down to my Army weight.
Family support and prayer has helped me keep focused...that, and living alone - no one bringing in other food. The biggest aspect is the change in eating habits and the "broadening" of the content of my diet. There have been some small cravings, but no "clawing at the door" need for something. I have not felt hungry (lots and lots of water). I sleep better, not as moody, more energy.
I have dropped 14" off my waist.
Very happy!

Well done!!!
You must feel better. I'm sure your heart loves you for it too. When you start exercising remember to go low impact for 20-30 minutes a day. It's the length of time you're at it that makes it work, not how intense you go at it. This is a great achievement so far and one I'm confident you will build on if you've had the discipline to get this far. You're an inspiration, sir!

Thanked: 586Fantabulous! I hope you reach your target and maintain it. I think this thread should have been started in the "Finer Things" forum because this is one of the finest things.
