This is a blatant lie.
Everybody knows that if ninjas go on a parade, they flip out and kill people all the time.

First of all, I do believe in aliens. With the size of the universe it would be incredible if there was not other life out there.
As for if they have been here, if you consider that the dinosaurs had a 65 million year head start on us, if an alien race developed at the same time as the dinosaurs and is still prospering today, they have had a 65 million year head start to develop the technology needed to get here.
But I don't think the American Government is conspiring to hide the aliens, Nor the Australian government (They're just not that smart). The ones conspiring to hide the aliens are Hollywood. Imagine the loss of revinue if aliens showed themselves here. There would be no more alien bad guys in movies. The aliens could sue Hollywood for slander over the countless movies which portray aliens as the bad guys. It would bankrupt the Hollywood movie industry.
Maybe they are already here and as a trade off for not making their presence known, they provide Hollywood with new special effects technology.
Think about it, it just might be true.
