    Default Tickets?

If anyone would like to attend this event, I can help you get tickets. Being a fund raiser, they only are giving each artist four(4) comps and we are having a heluva time deciding who will get those. However, they do have a thousand very good tickets reserved for friends and family to purchase. They have two levels, $274.50 and $106.50. If you are interested, PM me with an email address and I'll send you the request form.

They are one of the acts I am most looking forward to experiencing. Here is a video of them after and introduction by Paul Simon:

It was an impressive show. There are already videos on You Tube. But I can't find any of Oscar and Tom Chapin doing Garbage Garbage Garbage. I only caught a second of that and it looked awesome. I've always loved Tom and Harry Chapin. We rode in the bus to the after party with Taj Mahal and his daughter. He is hilarious! At the party I got pictures of Scar with Del McCoury, Bruce ****burn (pronounced ko-burn) and Tim Robbins! I had a nice conversation with Arlo Guthrie on an elevator. But just before getting on the elevator I walked Emmy Lou Harris to her dressing room. God is she a dish! We were walking around and bumped into a black SUV as it screeched to a stop and we stood there laughing about who might be inside. As the door opened I yelled "Hey, it's John!" and John Mellencamp walked right over to us and shook our hands. In the press area I introduced Scarlett to Bela Fleck and I complimented him about his NPR interview with two African Banjo players. He thanked me for listening. Getting onto the shuttle after the show we bumped into Warren Haynes who gave Scar a great big hug. Then as we were talking to Chris Kristofferson, some knucklehead pushed in to get his autograph. He said, "Chris my daughter is a songwriter and blah blah blah" and Chris stood there as the guy went on and on. We just got on the bus. When Chris finally got on, Scarlett said, "Chris, my daughter is a songwriter" and Chris burst out laughing and gave Scar a high five. Okay, now back to pointless obscurity.

    Bruce ****burn and Scarlett

    Taj Mahal

Del McCoury (Check out the suit!)

Casper Loma-da-wa (Native American Indian Alliance)

    Tim Robbins

Here are a few more shots I'd like to share:

Guy Davis, Scarlett, Bruce CoXXburn, Dar Williams, Emmy Lou Harris and Larry Long

Scar with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band

Joan Baez (Can you believe this woman is 68 years old!?!)

    Bernice Johnson Reagon: songtalker

The folks in Ireland will recognize Tommy Sands and his beautiful daughter Moya

And of course the birthday boy, Pete Seeger!
I don't want to wear you out with this shameless boasting. You can look at my Flickr page for more pictures: Flickr: B.R.Moroni's Photostream
