How about tools for making knives? I don't know that there's a knife/sword made that I would be comfortable blowing $900 on. Maybe several, but not just one!

I'd get a Hinderer XM-18 & have plenty of change. My imagination on knives just can't stretch to $900!
Rick Hinderer Knives
If i went crazy i could get two. Different colours to suit my shoes maybe!

Tough question. I think I'd just buy a whole bunch of damascus and make them myself untill I was satisfied with the final product....which would probably never happen. But for $900 I can buy quite a bit damascus.
If I had to buy a finished knife I'd buy a William Henry I think. Or a RockStead. I think they're the ultimate user folders.
ROCKSTEAD. ISHIDA INDUSTRIAL Co., Ltd zdp steel, rockwell 67 (!!!!!!) tough as nails. The guy that makes them does cutting tests at knifeshows and believe me they can take the abuse. (He's this Mr. Miyagi type little japanese guy that hardly speaks english and just radiates trustworthiness)

Nine new straight razors, of course!

Razor related for $900... I can't think of any particular razors that I want at the moment, so I'd prolly invest in some restoration tools. Buffing wheel, tumbler, band saw, drill press, and gear to de- and re-pin. Not that I'd have anywhere to put all that stuff.
...Oh yea, I don't have anything over 8/8 yet, so maybe a 9/8 and a 10/8. I think at that size, I'd want half hollows.
