Thanked: 369Good Read
If you haven't read this book: Amazon.com: Economics in One Lesson: The Shortest and Surest Way to Understand Basic Economics: Henry Hazlitt: Books
It's a great read.
If you didn't know that it was written over 60 years ago, you'd think that it was written last week. Maybe because the principles taught are timeless.
Knowing that it was written over 60 years ago makes you shake your head and wonder why the basics are still ignored.
You should read it, then give it to your high school and college kids to read.
Another good pamphlet to read: http://bastiat.org/en/the_law.htmlLast edited by honedright; 04-03-2009 at 10:57 PM.

Appreciate the links, another good read is "The Coming Battle" which was published in 1895 and is just as relevant as ever.
