I want to give some recognition to Chubby Carrier (Myspace) He and The Bayou Swamp Band played at a crawfish festival near me this weekend; he's a great entertainer and he makes feel-good dancin' music at its best. Anyway, SWMBO and I went to see him Sunday afternoon and were just hanging out gorging on boiled crawfish and beer (you can take the boy out of Louisiana but.....) when he came wandering through the crowd, shaking hands and chatting with people. He spotted my LSU shirt and stopped by for 5-10 minutes, just talking and being sociable. He and his band put on a great show, we spent most of it on the dance floor, then when they were done he made a point of coming over to thank us for staying and ask if we had a good time. A great musician, a great guy and a great day.
