Thread: Tattoo parlours in GTA

So I plan on getting the side of my body tattooed and I live in Mississauga. This will be my first tattoo, so I want to research where to go first. I was just wondering if anyone knows or has been to a reputable tattoo parlour in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). I've found several places online, but wanted to hear from anyone here who might give some insight.

Visit the shops and talk to the artists in person. Ask to see their portfolios and choose someone whose art you love. Obviously make sure the place is clean, etc. but I think the artist (and their artwork for you) is the most important thing- not what other people think.

If you mean that you are going to get a tattoo on your side then I don't know any artists up your way. If you mean you are getting your whole side tattooed then I would say Paul Jefferies of Calgary is one of the best tattooers in the world and has been for a couple of decades. If it is not too far I would do what it took to get a mark from him. The Dutchman in British Columbia is another that is right up there IMO.
