Yeah, I had a bitchin' boot knife a while ago, but it too was stolen. It was a groovy, black steal, mini Rambo-like knife, with serrated reverse edge and a guard for the handle. Maybe seven or eight inches in total length. It would have been right at home in one of my Doc Martens.

Depending on the dress and destination, but I always have one of my Case folders with me, usually a stag mini copperlock or a red jigged bone stockman. Those are my favorites. Victorinox Champ always in my backpack, and when I carry a large folder it;s either a Microtech D/A Socom (I'm an Air Force Reservist so I'm legal),a Bob Terzuola ATCF, or a Steve Jernigan liner lock for the dressier days. Been toying with the idea of a Chris Reeves small Sebenza.

I have to agree with you on the Swiss Champ. I keep it, a Gerber multitool and a Cold Steel folder in my camping gear. The Champ is awesome to have around if you forget you can opener, bottle opener, or need a corkscrew

I carry a Benchmade 707 folder which I use at least 5 times a day just around the house. I used to have the most beautil JL Williams flipper that was unfortunatley stolen. I bumped this thread because I want to get a classic pocket knife and am sure someone around here can direct me to a really nice all purpose classic maybe with stag handle or some such thing. You probably know what I mean. Right?

Thanked: 1For the I do not care stuff I have an unsharp Boker Magnum (was ideal for cutting boxes indeed). My normal pocket knife is a Fox Twister, brillaint knife and almost as sharp as a razor off the shelve. The thing is, if they stop you, it will be seen as an offensive weapon and you will be prosecuted (unless it is the old style pen-knife, 1cm wide, 4 cm long, but even that).
Even carrying a screwdriver after working hours will in the major cities be seen as a weapon or a means to break in with (eg cars).
Wouldn't use a knife for selfdefense anyway, the 10KVA twistet electric cable will see off any knife.
And on the Kuuhkri's and stuff, if even in the Netherlands don't even mention them. Theo van Gogh was killed with one and they are disliked, period.
Don't cut yourselves.
