As he rolled into me (the bumper was literally 3 inches from me), I smacked the hood of his car to get his attention (really, I don't think I could have stepped away quickly enough to not possibly get hit), but just kept walking. Kid was about 15, looked like he weighed all of 130lbs. He leans out his window, and yells "I'll stab you in the neck and leave you to BLEED, whore!"

Now, I'd already be bleeding if he stabbed me in the neck, so really, I imagine he meant that he'd leave me to "die." Or perhaps, he'd just leave me there to continue to bleed? Unorthodox, perhaps...but not a completely ridiculous threat, I guess...OK, I'll forgive that one....but did he really have to call me "whore?" I mean, what?

I've always had much love for sentences that start "I'll stab you in the neck," so I waxed all nostalgic for my younger, dumber days. Now, I'm relatively confident in my ability to protect myself from attack, but of course would prefer to avoid it altogether. I'm surprised I held my tongue, but I was a bit shocked at his outrage, and didn't say a thing. I kept an eye on him as I kept moving away from the bad situation.

Then he just flicked a cigarette in my direction and drove away, and I went to the bank. The bank security guard on the corner, didn't say "Are you OK," or "Did you get the plate number" or "Do you want me to call the cops."

He said "Did he just call you 'whore'?"

Yeah, thanks champ.
What an interesting sentence. I'll stab you in the neck and leave you to bleed, whore. That's the best he could come up with? Kids today really are depraved. Since it was a surprise, that was obviously his default threat. What a sad case.

I agree though, should've taken down his plate and called the police. 'Round these parts, that's assault, possibly with a deadly weapon. With the security guard as witness, he'd be in some huge trouble.
