Soap Trading Thread

I would like to start a soap trading network. People swapping things to and fro for other things that they would like to try.

Seems a better way to go about deciding if you like something.

Right now I have SCS Smoke and Beads, TGQ Highlander, Margarita, Cavendish, Lavender, Bay Rum and Sweet Orange, CO Bigelow.

All of the above except the SCS have been heavily used, but they are not gone. I have 2 or 3 squeezes in the Bigelow then I have another full tube.

I just want to trade in kind. Soap/Cream for Soap/Cream, with NO intention of keeping it. Using it once or twice then trading it again.

Any takers?

I never thought that soap not touched by a face, ie Shave stick, would be considered unsanitary.

I have received no responses on the box idea, so I thought I'd try this.

I don't know what a shave stick is and refuse to go look it up because I have enough problems without 20 more in my shopping cart

I meant soap in a cup.

perhaps you could explain more fully because I seem to be missing something here

A shave stick is just what it sounds like. Soap in a large chapstick tube that people generally lather right onto the face.

Soap in a mug, people by and sell used all the time. I have bought a few used. Never thought twice about it.

If you would like to limit this to creams, then I see no problem with that except that some people are not cream people.

Edit: I am glad someone else is willing to give this a shot.

sanitary? This is soap, right? Rinse it off and make sure there's no residual blood from the previous user, then let her rip.

Joe and I have completed our transaction and Eric, who had the MamaBear Sample thread, which was the impetus for this thread, sent me some BarberShoppe and Spellbound woods.

So here they are. I have the following:

Bigelow Green
SCS Smoke and Beads
TGQ:
Cavendish
Highlander
Lavender
Bay Rum and Sweet Orange

Joe is sending me some P160 and Valobra regular

And thanks to Eric, I have some MB's Barbershoppe and Spellbound Woods.
