Thanked: 402... and of course also priests.
Warning from Germany:
Don't do that or you'll get a boring sad TV-Program for the next one hundred years.

I heard around Memorial day that aprox 1800 WWII vetrans die in the US every day.
I haven't verified, but if this is true it really highlights the massive scope of that war.
Truly a loss for all involved, and the next one will be far worse.
"What next one GW? There aren't going to be any more world wars!"
war is the natural state of man
denial of the truth won't change anything
ask an old Nazi

I've followed some good political and religious discussions here, and joined in one or two. The only thing that really bothers me is when somebody overdoes the sarcasm. It's hard to discuss intelligently with a smart-@$$.

My point was that so far the people in this forum seem very reasonable and polite, even when debating heated issues.....at least so far, from what I've seen, which admittedly hasn't been much.
I'm just saying if that's how ya'll conduct business around here, good for you! It's a rare thing that people can have a REAL debate without descending into ad-hominem attacks and pointless name-calling.....if you wanna do THAT, I totally agree, take it somewhere else!!! You'd probably have more fun with all the other children in an AOL chatroom anyway.
But for those of us who can disagree without being disagreeable, I would just suggest that you spend less time debating in this forum, and MORE TIME contacting your local or federal representatives....or for that matter volunteering for _________? Knocking on doors....collecting signatures....giving $$$....posting on other (political) forums......whatever you think will make the most impact and make your voice heard....because yes, while I like being able to discuss politics and religion with you gentlemen, nothing said here is really gonna influence an election or make a noticeable difference in my community or country.....the whole point of my post was to encourage you all to do that....even if you're wrong on all the issues like VeeDubhehe
So, I say to you....yes, yes yes, keep on a rockin!
No, no no, don't stop a rockin!

Educate the Powerful(SM)
to contact my congressmen and representatives. quick and easy, and free. best of all, it only takes about 5 minutes, so i can do it on my lunch break from my iphone.
