I never know what to say about such things!
Abortion Doctor George Tiller Killed at Church, Attorney Says - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News - FOXNews.com
Seems rather cut and dry doesn't it? Let us muddy the water a bit.
Was the killer trying to protect unborn children? If so, wouldn't another doctor just take his place? doesn't the killer run the risk of making this doctor into a martyr? Is it really the killers place to protect the unborn? Isn't that the parents responsibility? Do they not have to answer to their conscience and God ( or whatever your belief is)? Does the doctor force these women unto the operating table? And finally, Who is the final arbiter of all of our actions and decisions?
Feel free to answer as you see fit or muddy the waters further with more questions.

Thanked: 150I'll add one more question: what kind of abortion doctor can do his "job" on Friday, and then go to church and worship God on Sunday?

Thanked: 150Please explain. It says that he attended the Reformed Lutheran church. Presumably, it follows the teaching of the Bible. Christ specifically said that "He who does unto the least of these, does unto me." How can a late-term abortion doctor follow the teachings of Christ, and do the "job" that he does? They are in direct conflict with each other.
So did Hitler, Eichmann, Mengele. This is another Holocaust, were we are sacrificing the unborn on the alter of humanism. I disagree with the killing of the abortion doctor, but you reap what you sow.

I don't see what all the moralizing here is all about.
Some of the most cold blooded Mafia hit men and hit men in general who would kill you or I for a price are the most loving fathers and devout churchgoers and seemingly nicest people you would ever meet. It all depends on your perspective.
To them its just a job, nothing personal at all. As a matter of fact I knew one who just as he was about to pump a few rounds of a 22 into his victims head would tap him on the shoulder and say "excuse me sir this is nothing personal".
In this case its just murder plain and simple like all the others. If you agree with his politics you publicly condemn him and privately cheer him and if you don't approve of his politics you just condemn him period. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thanked: 402If you want to stop that, stop science and all the monitoring of pregnancies and - most importantly stop scientific interest in malformations.
Basically a woman only has the choice to keep her legs together but that wouldn't please you guys either, would it?Last edited by 0livia; 05-31-2009 at 08:58 PM.
