Neutering my cat didn't change his behavior at all. He's the same easy-going little guy.
Here he is after his operation:
Heh heh.

Speaking as someone who doesn't like cats (dog person here, though I don't have any atm), I agree wholeheartedly. Because I really hate it when other people's cats s**t on my lawn where I want my kids to be able to play without having to worry about them stepping in their crap or picking it up with their bare hands (the youngest is not yet 2).
I am a kind man to humans and animals alike, so my actions stay limited to cursing and spreading used coffee grounds (which seems to help somewhat).
But if you ever wonder why cats sometimes disappear for good, then the chances are that someone got fed up with what your cat was doing on/with their property, day after day after day.Last edited by Bruno; 06-04-2009 at 09:22 AM.

Thanked: 402Bruno, most cats dig a hole and cover their poop afterwards.
Must admit that a hole in the lawn is not nice either but at least the stuff is not lying around. Some others (who lost their instincts due to domestication) don't but they are few.
Blade Wielder that looks like a mass of cat beer!

Thanked: 402Well, sometimes its the small things that make you a hero!
Cats are really dangerous! They crawl upon laps, purr and crack the hardest fortress! Seen those cases before! They turned out to be the greatest cat defenders afterwards. Must be some kind of brain wash with an extra conditioner, so mind them! They make friendly!

They tried. But to no avail.
People with cats are funny. The cat wants to pet pampered and petted so it will sit on their lap. When it decides it has had enough, it lashes out with claws and rip into the soft forearm flesh.
And then the owner shrugs it off with a smile and says 'he sometimes does that, the rascal'
..
..
..
Excuse me?
He did that before?
You consider this normal?
WTF is wrong with you?
