Much to my own chagrin and as GW can attest there appears to be no topic to which I absolutely will not add my 2¢, but I'm getting much better at self censoring or holding off on posts.

...what has been seen, cannot be unseen.
It's actually a good thing. Everyone here is so old school gentlemanly it comes as a great relief to know you're real people.
EDIT: I don't mean that in a bad way...realized it sounded kind of critical. This place just has a certain air about it that seems exceptionally "proper".Last edited by Mudkipz; 06-08-2009 at 06:20 PM.

And that's how we want to keep it
These days we hardly ever have blowups in the Conversation anymore.
I really like the concept of the tabootopics site. Because whatever happens there is not my problem.
Admittedly, I don't know how 'alive' it still is because I just had a look and there were virtually no new threads / posts in a long time.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Having once unleashed the fury of the SWMBO-at-the-time upon myself by diving into the purse for something I fairly certainly knew she stuck in there, I, as of that moment, have decided to not ever open it up or rummage around in it. When I hand over the evil thing, but only after repeated and sincere requests and confirmations that no harm will come upon me. I will respectfully keep my eyes off it, to avoid the undesirable impression I might be peeking at its contents. On multiple occasions I have decidedly, yet in a conflict-avoiding manner, stated that I shall not ever open up said beholder of fascination and misery to mankind at the same time, to not ever have this backfire on me.
To summarize: Guys, just don't think about it. No matter how "understanding" she claims to be, how "equal" your relationship is. Just don't.

Thanked: 402Purse an issue? Hhhmmm...
Apart from my papers I usually have a lighter, cigarettes, a lipstick, a tiny swiss army knife, a little LED-torch, a loupe and a buck knife in my purse.
Apart from the lipstick and my papers there's no problem with getting your hands on when you ask.
The things I don't write about are the things I probably forget to write about.
Like introducing politely, welcomes, b-day-greetings and a whole lot of buddy pms. Most of the time my head is elsewhere but sometimes I wish I'd pay more attention to those personal things.

Ai ai ai Olivia, you set a number of traps here! So many conditions, no sane man would ever venture in the undiscovered world that's your purse. The first trap is "when you ask". All suspicion is upon the man when he dares to ask to open up the purse! And this is followed by the traps which are your lipstick and papers. No, for his own safety, I would strongly advise against any man sticking his hand in your purse!
Of course, all this is to be taken not entirely seriously.
