Very interesting read and more interesting time in the world.

1) Where it goes depends on the Iranian people and the support they get both official and unofficial. There is lots of opportunity in chaos.

2) From a distance, officially. He probably will commend them for standing up for their rights and freedom. Unofficially, any support that he can offer that can't be tied back to the US., maybe through third world nations.

3) I don't think he will pick sides unless there is indisputable proof of corruption.

4) It offers some weight but can't be used as an argument until there is indisputable proof of corruption.

5) Probably not in a manor that will completely resolve the issue. There are other nations that can react better, and have a history of it.

This area is a hot pot as we all know. The question is how many straws will it take to break the camel's back and the area erupts. Throw North Korea in the mix (you know they will also stir the pot any way they can to direct concerns away from them, and BANG!!

There will be no changes and no one will do anything about Iran. In the end they will do what they please meaning the same as they have been doing.
