I have tried MHP, GNC, ONs, BSN, and Muscle Milk.

I have had good success with MHP. GNC was crap, ONs used to do the job, BSN did not do a thing, although the NoXplode worked ok until my body got used to it, and Muscle Milk was just too much, too sweet, too thick, to hard on the gut.

If I can't find a substitute I will probably go back to MHP. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any luck with anything else.

I am not a body builder. I am a runner and backpacker. So I use the protein as a lactic acid buffer and rebuilder or muscle sustainer.
