Thanked: 586A Terrorist Has Siezed my Workbench
At first I thought he liked being near to me. Quickly scrapping that foolishness, I began to think he might have a thing for submarines and the awesome kill power of the United States Navy. But after surreptitiously observing him for hundreds of hours, it became apparent Mr. Toes never even glanced at the sub photo.
Toward the end of one seventeen hour surveillance, I began to suspect he had taken over my bench for no reason other than someone had placed a pillow there. Careful reviews and analyses of the available data thus far tends to indictate the wretched polydactyl tabby is somehow motivated by nothing more than his own comfort! As ridiculous as It may sound, it is becoming difficult to deny Mr. Toes does nothing at any time that does not directly provide himself with an increased if not at least static level of personal comfort!

I bet he likes the warmth from that lamp, too. My cat used to always stretch out in the warm sunlight.

That is cat TV. Fortunate for you that Mr.Toes allows you to use a portion of his perch for working on your projects.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
