    Default Backmassage honing?

A couple days ago, I gave my wife a back massage, and found myself imagining that I was honing a Dubl Duck. Is this a sign of imminent insanity, or a standard effect of SR restoration?
    Thanks,
    Shuka

See, some things in life are just a little misplaced.
When I browse an isle for chocolates I always find soap molds.
When I'm in the frame builders department at a hardware store, there are the soap cutters!

What else are you supposed to think about while doing the chores?

Don't worry, I was looking at the white paint in a cross walk tonight, and I saw the "grains" of black that reminded me of the surface of a Cotecule! I was even tempted to take a picture....

Sounds like you are perfectly sane to me...

BTW, any jokes involving any of the standard tests ie: TPT, HHT....well they're just too easy

Hm, I think I'm the opposite. Whenever I'm honing on a Swaty, I'm reminded of a chocolate bar. I'm a bit afraid that one of these days I'm going to try to nibble on it. (I think I've written this elsewhere or the forum before).

On a more serious note (not that I was joking there), when I'm working on razors, my mind is quite empty/relaxed; much like when I used to run or when I go out for a ride. I find honing to be one of the most relaxing things I ever do (aside from when a bevel is being increadibly stubborn; that's one of the least relaxing things I do). In fact, I'm quite sure that if I could hone and take a hot shower at the same time, I would probably fall asleep mid lap.

Not crazy... as long as you flip your stroke on the spine and keep a light preasure.

I'm with you on this Holli. While honing my mind is blank and relaxed. Working with mind puzzles all day makes it hard to turn it off, especially when working on an intricate program. When I hone my mind is relaxed. And to tell you the truth, I would rather dream about honing and shaving than to write code in my sleep. I wake up more refreshed.

I've had job where I left work with physical fatigue and other jobs that left me with mental fatigue. I always found it was quicker to recover from physical fatigue until I started honing straights. I guess any hobby may do the same but I find honing and using straights very gratifying.
