17 years ago I was in vegas for the Soldier of Fortune convention with my dad. (can't find that magazine anywhere now) and we went to the shooting demo. they had one guy there in a full turret quad 50. that was SWEET. for years I wanted one on a car. :-)

Quad 50s were used for convoy protection, among other uses, in Viet Nam. Charlie didn't fool with them.
Hard to realize that the M2 was designed by John Browning towards the end of the First World War and continues to serve with distinction.
I sat behind one for many a mile as TC of a 113 ACAV.

We had a neighbor when I was a kid who was with an AA unit in Korea, they used quad 50s to plow thru Chinese hordes, Roy said it worked pretty good. Ma Duece, what a girl! BTW his pistol, the 1911A1 should still be in service as well, there has never been a better design.

It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

at a gun range by my house theyve got a few different fully's you can choose from, theyll let you fire off a box for 50 bucks. but u have to buy there ammo. expensive, but convenient
have you guys heard of metalstorm?
they have a pistol that fires 3 rounds in 1/500th of a second. it fires so fast theres no kickback until the last bullet, it looks like there firing 1 shot.
they also make 40mm grenage launchers that can lay them down at something like 500 per second, in an automated perfect grid.
they have the most incredible weapons.
they work electroniclyy with stacked ammo, diigitally fired, they can fire rounds within centimeters behind each other. its pretty wild. there sites a mess, but they do have demonstration vidss of all there stuff.
