    Default Im gonna be a daddy!!!!

    I came home from work yesterday to find several positive pregnancy tests on the counter! We got the official from the doctor today. We have been trying for a few months, and this is our first, I am so excited!!!

    Congrats! I'll have a spiritual cigar with you....(coz I don't smoke the physical ones)!!

    You'll love (and at times loathe) having a little one around. Nothing is more fun than seeing the little kid laugh and knowing you made it happen.

    This is what you'll need for the first 3 months while everyone is getting used to the baby's schedule.

    Notice I said getting used to the baby's schedule. Your schedule is now out the window.

    I have two boys and would not trade all the sleepless nights and nightmares for anything.

    I'm working out tonight, so no cigar today, but I'll have a few this weekend for you, how's that??

    I have a whopping 14.5 months dad experience, and it is getting more amazing every day. The rough parts are NOTHING compared to the highs!! (This is just hard to remember at 3:15am, when you have to be up at 5, and there is a crying little one and a crying mommy...but then (s)he looks at you and grabs your finger, and your entire world is beautiful).

    Enjoy the ride, and feel free to post/vent (via PM if you want)...you'll likely need safe place to do so!!
