As Jimbo would say: correlation is not equal to causation
If those cultures also have different dieatary habits, then those factors are more likely to make a difference than how one pees.
I once read that tomatoes contains a component that helps prevent and fight prostate cancer. Having a liking for huge quantities of self made spaghetti sauce, that is my plan for preventing it alltogether.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Thanked: 586I am barely walking on two legs. I doubt I would ever be so evolved to care so much about my appearance as to attempt to alter it by use of applied paint. I know a woman who is very proud that she has stopped wearing certain make-up. She got tattoos on he face in place of mascara or eyeliner (or some such). Now if you consider that, then I guess in a sense, because I have some ink in my hide I am wearing make-up.

Thanked: 17What is the difference between makeup and hair coloring or toupees?
Males have worn makeup throughout the ages. It depends on the fashion of the time. Society is vanity driven and people are judged on their appearance
If a person feels the need of these things to boost their self confidence so be it.
My 13 year old son has sported a Mohawk since kindergarten (his choice from the beginning). Currently it is a violent shade of purple. It looks like a bad 70' shag carpet. The color is not to my taste, but it is his hair and it will grow back.
Personally, I have earned every gray hair and line on my face. I see no reason to cover them up. When my hair goes, I will shave it (with a straight of course).
As for sitting while urinating... I haven't done that since i quit drinking!

Both sexes are involved in embellishing their bodies. In Western societies men and women shave, women wear make-up, tattoos used to be a men-only thing (sailors, soldiers, truckers) but not any longer, ear rings for women but becoming more and more fashionable for men, so why not make-up for men?
I don't think I would ever wear make-up, but I am lucky that I do not have major skin blemishes in my face.Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr.
