Straights in NYC
Hello Gents,
I have lived in Las Vegas for 20+ years. It is my beloved desert home. But now me and my girlfriend (SWMBL) are driving cross country to try our love and luck in the city. I'm going to play bass, and bring my sharpening stones with me. She is going to work as an aesthetician and/or perform as a singer.
Just floating this note out there to find the others in the city, look for leads, sublets, information, anything.
I am super excited!
Time to go through the burgeoning shave den and take only the essentials. Stay tuned to the classies, I have some nice razors to let go of
Oh and I had a fantastic shave tonight. I did it all by myself, but I have all you to thank for great information and goods exchanged.
Cheers,
Bassguy

Best of luck! I'm certain grand adventures await, which will be transformed into wonderful experiences with the right, indomitable attitude...which as a straight razor shaver and bassist I'm betting you have!
Cheers!

I am such a sucker for the classifieds. Curse my impulse-buying fingers!

This might sound funny but...
I'm starting to have dreams about New York. I won't bug you with the details but last night Camelia Oil kept coming up. Is the humidity in NYC high enough for one to need this stuff? FWIW I have 3 razors in rotation, with 3 or 4 that are 'works in progress' that will eventually be donated or sold. Once I get rid of those I'm good to go. I think I'm over my RAD... no jokes please
