Nobody said anything about averting ones eyes, just don't crank you neck completely around so that even the French president get a chuckle. One can be discrete about enjoying ones surroundings.....and that was not discrete!

Funny, for someone a wee bit to what I like to call the "thinking left" of the aisle, I can, too! For someone as concerned about appearences, etc, and with such a well thought out and carefully guarded control of the public's perception of him...this seems too out of character (his public character). I have to wonder (and I would wonder if it was George Bush, Sarah Palin, John McCain or my mom in the photo with the twisting neck) if he was really looking at what it looks like he is looking at. This isn't me defending HIM, just wondering if just about anyu politician would be so OBVIOUS about it in public.
