Thanked: 16Non Gentlemanly Discussion?
Ladies and Sirs does there remain a location for lively debate where tensions are riled? A snake pit if you will?

I used to enjoy watching Prime Minister's question time when John Major was in there and Tony Blair would be ragging on him grinning like a Cheshire cat. Still entertaining but Gorden Brown doesn't have the charisma that Tony Blair brought to it OTOH David Cameron reminds me of the Blair duels with Major years ago.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Good question though. Nice of you to ask beforehand. Maybe if you look for a bearded forum

Thanked: 77Not to mention the number of people here with sharp objects
.
On another note - from the time I've been here I've found the posters to be very positive and supportive, even on the occasions where there is disagreement. I assume that if posters did get a bit heated, a moderater would be onto the situation asap.
I agree - it is nice to have an oasis.
Re the original post- I'm guessing you meant somewhere to have a lively debate over politics or something?
(And not straights at 10 paces???)
All the best,
Michael.Last edited by FTG; 07-18-2009 at 01:48 PM.
