[QUOTE=icedog;421879]C'mon Mark, do you think this post by SLT5103 is accurate?:

I do, I think it accurately represents everyone I have met who openly allows that they voted for Obama. Of course there may be some few semi-intelligent Obama voters out there but then they would be smart enough to have seen their own error by now.

Frankly Obama wouldn't have been elected if there had been a "your ass from a hole in the ground" voting eligibility test.

That is hilarious. You say this as if you believe there is any difference between one group of Americans and another. Of course you use your namecalling and childish similes with such conviction and dedication that one who doesn't know any better might actually mistake you for a studied authority.

Are you saying there isn't a difference between one group of Americans and another?

I was commenting specifically to Tim but yes, I believe people are people.

And I believe that each of us is an individual with different abilities and talents who should be allowed to be responsible for themselves and their own success with the intefence of governmental forces as much as possible, even if that means they might not succeed.

Thats why I can't agree with you, I am different from my neighbor and I will receive different opportunities. I don't deserve the same ones nor can anyone level the playing field for me except be making sure no one ever has any opportunities again. The way things are being done we will have a financial desert and they will call it equality of opportunity. I call it the death of individuality.

does anyone else find it childish to proclaim that you are going to ignore someone?

"MOM !!!! tell Timmy to be quiet !!!"

    "you tell him sweety..."

    " I CAN'T !! I'M IGNORING HIM !!! you tell him"

(probably me too now huh ? )

Just like we had in the OLD south. It would only be fair if there was a "are you a nut case pent on senseless 'revolution' because you aren't smart enough to work out a better solution?" clause.

People are always surprised and disappointed when things don't work out for them. Take Sept. 1 2007 for example. The day that Michigan learned they weren't as good a football team as everyone at the time thought...but I digress.
