    Default Ring Tones

    I've noticed that there seem to be three ring tone type people in the world: stock ringers (aka, it came on the phone), change the tones like underwear, or pick a custom and stick with it.

    Which are you and what do you use? I use one for my wife and one for everyone else. I usually change them up every couple months or so, but I really like these two. I make them myself, so if I want to switch, it doesn't cost me anything.

    My issue is that I have to have something I can hear yet it still sounds good. Both of those I can make out over most noises, yet it's not obnoxious. The Good Charlotte one will pull me out of the deepest sleep- even before he finishes saying "Everybody"

    I'm a stock ringer, but I'm getting a little tired of hearing my phone going off in somebody else's pocket. I think this would be ultra cool.

    Guy I know from another forum has this as his ring tone. When I heard it I thought it was really cool, and I had "ringtone envy."

    I use the theme song from Black Jack Justice. There's a site somewhere that I lost the link to, it will turn any MP3 into a ringtone for free...I made ringtones from FF7, Trogdor, and other silliness just because I could.

    Looks like the RIAA have been very active on Youtube -- couple of those links already taken down.

    Our landline phone at home has customisable tones. I recorded one of my voice in a real drone saying over and over "Answer the phone... answer the phone... answer the phone" to annoy my wife. Thing is, the OS is so counter-intuitive she can't work out how to reset it. 3 years later and she continues to tear her hair out every time it rings.

    Im a regular old ring tone, so boaring.

    I think I will have to surf for a new one today!

    Never wanted to waste my time on that but what the heck...
