Thanked: 586Antique Cameras
I have a number of old cameras and I am wondering if any of you folks are camera collectors.

Used to love it and somehow I can't part with although I never use it these days.

Sorry no, went all digital way back. Antique cameras TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) is too high for me. Cost of the camera + cost of the film/number of shots produced by a role = TCO. Digitals have higher upfront costs but over time the TCO is far lower than analogs.

I have a couple of old fashioned cameras and antique lenses but I am not a collector. I use them from time to time.
Here are some of my oldest: a pre-WW2 German Linhof 5x7 view camera with a 1890s lens.

I have quite a few old cameras lying about. I have a couple of Argus "A" models, an Argus C-4 somewhere I've got a C-3 "brick", as well as a box brownie or two.My last camera purchase was a YashicaLM tlr. Have a roll of film in it atm.

I'm fortunate, I think, mine has a built-in light meter, if it works. I still haven't tried it out yet, I'm still looking for the right subject to shoot.

Thanked: 586You are correct. I did not ask the question to discuss old v. new cameras. I am simply trying to find a new home for a number of old cameras I have collected.
We were living in a one room house that had alot of nooks and crannies to display alot of cool junque:
The new place is more modern and has new fangled things like cabinets and thermostatically controlled heat and central air conditioning but not much space for collections of junque. So, my hope is that someone has a love for old cameras and would be interested in my collection. I don't want to sell these things. I want to give them free of charge to someone who will love them and treat them nice nice.
