NATIONAL EMBLEMS
Are there any other countries out there where it is legal to hunt and eat your national symbols, or turn them into rugs, jackets, hats ect?
Or are we just lucky in Australia!

Of the various animals that are emblematic in the United kingdom, there are no lions left except in zoos, the Unicorn is a figment of the imagination and it's doubtful whether we ever had any dragons either.

Thanked: 155You're just lucky I guess. Anyway, balk eagle taste terrible. Benjamin Franklin wanted the U.S. to adopt the wild turkey as its symbol, now that would have been good eatin'.
